These shapes excite me because they make the greatest pair of eyebrows in my crowns and my raven/owl series. The piece just screams movement, and the depth can be changed by gently bending the pieces. They remind me of a devil's wing.
The size of the single piece is 52mm by 30mm, used as a pair they would be 110mm or 4.25 inches wide, touching.
The finish is fine silver plating. I have these custom plated for me by a fabulous company that works with high tech manufacturers. He's more expensive but in the years I've worked with them they've always have a high quality finish.
I could also change the patina or the finish of the piece by using this technique as seen in this video.
