These shape excite me because it makes the best base for many of my works. I can glue on it, I can add layers of eyes, stampings and add chains for movement. It makes a great pin base. It takes a patina beautifully, revealing it's great depth. I love this piece in the silver plated section, it looks so real. This one is slightly different from the other squares, with a tiny hole drilled in one corner and a fuller design.
The size of the single piece is 50mm by 50mm, be aware, there's a tiny hole on the one of the corners, perfect for making a piece that has a dangle in it!
The finish is raw brass. I could change the patina or finish of the piece by torching it with a heat source like this video
